This young, friendly female stray was admitted to the WVS Rescue Center with a severe leg injury. What was initially thought to be the result of a road accident, turned out to be yet another case of human cruelty.
X-Rays showed that the femur of her right hind-leg was completely shattered by a shotgun blast, with numerous pellets still lodged in her leg and body. The degree of damage to the bone, and the time that had passed since the injury, made it impossible to repair the leg - Amputation was the only option.
Kitty recovered quickly under the care of our dedicated team of veterinarians and she soon regained excellent mobility. Since it was clearly unsafe for her to return to her neighborhood, we tried hard to find another solution for her. Thankfully, one of our great supporters agreed to add Kitty to his pack, which already features 3 other WVS alumni.
Providing free world-class veterinary care requires more than just the skill and dedication of our great team of vets. We cannot continue to help hundreds of animals in need without the support of compassionate animal lovers like you.
So, please, consider making a donation to support our mission today at wvsthailand.org/en/donate/
Thank you, on behalf of Kitty and the more than 800 sick and injured animals we have treated in the past year!
