Join Khao's fight for her life!

Little soi dog Kao is fighting for her life right now. When a kind young couple found her clearly near death, they could smell the infection in her mouth, even before they could see it. Without hesitation they bundled her into their jacket and rode their motorcycle directly to our clinic.

Our expert veterinary team went to work immediately to stabilize her condition. They gave her several powerful and expensive medicines to fight the massive infection in her face and reduce her terrible pain. On top of that, we discovered another infection (pyometra) in Kao’s uterus, probably from a birth control injection.

The coming hours and days will be critical for poor little Kao. Despite her suffering, her eyes tell us that she wants to live. So our skilled and caring vets do everything in their power to improve her odds. But if she makes it through the next few days, she still has a very long road ahead. There will be more treatments and surgeries and many weeks of recovery.

Won’t you join our team and help us do the best for Kao and for the many other strays who also suffer and have nowhere else to turn to except the WVS Rescue and Rehabilitation Center?
