Update: Giulio's New Look & Life

In the few short weeks since he was dumped like a bundle of rubbish at the gate of the WVS Rescue Center, little Giulio has made a remarkable transformation, both inside and out.

While our great veterinarians were able to address his medical issues in short order, teaching the terrified little Shih-Tzu boy how to be a well-balanced pet is an ongoing team project — caretakers, volunteers, and behaviorists are working together, and he has been responding very well so far.

Every day Giulio’s trust, confidence, and curiosity grow and he’s already made some good human and canine friends around our Rescue & Rehabilitation Center. We are thrilled with his progress and are hopeful that, in the very near future, this cute little boy will be ready to start the next stage of his life, as a well-socialized and treasured family pet!

To join us in helping more dogs like Giulio to escape a life of pain, fear, and deprivation, please consider making a donation today!
