In early February Tessa, a humble temple dog from Doisaket, came to the WVS Rescue & Rehabilitation center with a large tumor on her hind leg. After several surgeries and treatment by our excellent vet team, she made a full recovery.
Due to the constant demand for space and resources at our clinic, most dogs have to return to their communities, at the end of their treatment. But Tessa caught the eye of one of our longtime supporters, who was looking for a new hiking buddy to join her pack of mostly senior dogs.
So, just before Songkran Tessa left us, healthy and full of joy, to start a whole new life as a pampered pet. We are certain that this Thai New Year is, and will always be, the best one in Tessa’s life!
We are so grateful for all our wonderful adopters and supporters. Without you, our work could never be as successful and rewarding as it is.
If you think you have room in your heart and your home, for a wonderful and loving companion like Tessa, please send a message or schedule a visit by calling 086-913-8701 (Mon-Sat, except public holidays).
The WVS Rescue & Rehabilitation team saves hundreds of sick and seriously injured animals each year, when they have nowhere else to turn for help. We believe that every animal deserves access to life-saving veterinary treatment. If you agree, please join us by making a donation at wvsthailand.org/en/donate/
