Protect Pets From Gun Attacks!

Gunshot injuries are among the many dangers for free-roaming animals. In the past week alone, we had two emergency cases with gunshot wounds: A cat from Lamphun and a dog from Moo.9, Tambon Nongyang, Sansai.

Nin, the young dog was fortunate that no major organs were damaged by the bullet, and he is now recovering at the WVS Rescue Clinic. Som, the cat was not so lucky and required extensive surgery, including the removal of part of his intestines. He is currently in stable but guarded condition, in our intensive care unit.

Please don’t allow your pets to roam free and unsupervised. We see so many injuries and deaths from fights, poisoning, traffic accidents, gunshots and other avoidable causes. Strays have no choice than to be exposed to those risks, but we can protect our pets from many dangers, by keeping a close watch on them.

We treat hundreds of stray and community animals and sterilize thousands every year. All our work is made possible by private grants and donations. Please help us to help more animals by donating at wvsthailand.org/en/donate/
