A kindhearted caretaker brought Milo for treatment to the WVS Rescue & Rehabilitation Center, after being brutally attacked near Doi Suthep temple.
Over the following four weeks the caretaker often visited Milo, while our dedicated veterinary team helped him get back to good health. There was clearly a special bond between this gentle giant and his human friend.
When milo’s wounds had sufficiently healed and the time came, just before the holidays, for Milo to leave our care, his loyal friend came to take him back to the temple. But to our delight, the caretaker announced that he couldn’t bring himself to put Milo back into an environment where he could get hurt again. So, he would take him to live at his own home, instead.
We are overjoyed about Milo’s good fortune and hope that many more homeless dogs will find a kind and compassionate human in 2023!
Please support our efforts to save more of our region’s least fortunate animals and to find good homes for as many as possible. To make a donation, please go to wvsthailand.org/en/donate/
