Our network of community caregivers are a vital part of our mission to bring lifesaving veterinary care to stray and community animals. They know the strays in their communities and alert us when one of them is unwell. When one of those kind citizens reported that Latte, a friendly 5-year-old female seemed depressed and had blood in her urine, we knew that something serious was going on.
A thorough work-up by the WVS veterinary team soon revealed the cause of Latte’s suffering: The poor girl had a massive bladder stone that must have caused her extreme discomfort for some time.
Our skilled surgical team performed the operation to remove the source of Latte’s agony. She made a beautiful recovery and we were glad to return this sweet doggy to her loving caretaker a few days later.
We love to provide critical medical care to animals who have nowhere else to turn for help. But we can’t do it without the support from animal lovers like you. So please consider making a donation at https://wvsthailand.org/en/donate/
Even a small amount could alleviate great suffering, or even save a life!
