It took all the skill of our rescue team to collect Gangnam, without being bitten by this ferocious little dog. They responded to a call for assistance from one of our supporters, who had seen him struggling with an injured leg for many days, but couldn’t safely approach or handle him.
Once at the WVS Rescue Center, we discovered that Gangnam’s leg injury was the least of his problems: His clinical exam and lab tests showed that he also has a severe blood parasite infection. Without aggressive treatment, his young life would have ended very soon.
We don’t know what caused Gangnam to have such a poor attitude toward humans. But we will try to heal his little body, and perhaps convince him that not all humans are evil.
Our team of dedicated veterinarians, caretakers, and volunteers provides life-saving medical care to hundreds of animals, who have nowhere else to turn for help, each year. To carry on this work we need the support of committed animal lovers like you. Please consider making a donation today!
