Frank - One of Many!

One-year-old Golden mix “Frank” came to the WVS Rescue Center with a massively infected and maggot-infested wound to his left front paw. It had swollen to twice its normal size and must have been incredibly painful. The smell alone would choke most people. But senior vet surgeon Dr. Poppy and her team painstakingly cleaned up the mess, so the healing could begin. Without expert treatment poor Frank would have lost a limb, and possibly even his life.

Frank is one of thousands of WVS Rescue Center patients, who had nowhere else to turn for life-saving veterinary care. The need is enormous and our resources are limited. So please consider supporting our work by making a donation today!
