Don't be Sad, Little Boy...

Actually, the future looks bright for little “Kuro” thanks to the good doctors at the WVS Rescue & Rehabilitation Center. This temple pup was brought to us after he stopped eating and had lost a lot of weight.

The cause of this turned out to be a bone fragment that lodged itself in Kuro’s mouth and prevented him from chewing and swallowing. Tests also revealed a serious blood parasite infection.

Kuro is now recovering from his ordeal at the rescue center and we’re hopeful that he will have a long and healthy life. He will be fully vaccinated and sterilized before he leaves. Who knows, he may even catch the eye of a family who’s looking for a friendly little fellow like him!

Every year, our team of vets, nurses and caretakers save hundreds of furry lives at our Hangdong center. We also sterilize thousands of strays, to break the cycle of suffering from overpopulation in the streets.

Please support our work by donating at wvsthailand.org/en/donate/

We’re also grateful for donations of food and supplies. For details or to arrange a drop-off, please call us at 086-913-8701 (Mon-Sat, 9:30-4:30) or leave a message in our inbox.
