Among the many strays in our communities, the poorest are reduced to living in a garbage dump. This was the fate of Bubble, a gentle two-year-old male dog. A kind member of the community alerted us to his pitiful condition, so we dispatched a team to collect him.
Initial examination by the WVS veterinarians revealed that Bubble suffers from a massive infestation of demodex skin parasites, as well as a severe bacterial skin infection. Treatment for these conditions started immediately, while further tests are underway. Please watch this space for updates on his progress!
Every year, hundreds of dogs like Bubble receive life-saving veterinary care at the WVS Rescue & Rehabilitation Center. Thousands more are sterilized and vaccinated, to break the cycle of suffering in our communities. Please support us in our mission to help more of them, by making a donation today at wvsthailand.org/en/donate/
