John, a 1-2 year-old male stray, was admitted with an infected gunshot wound to his face. Fortunately, the damage was not life-threatening and the WVS vet team was able to bring about a full recovery.

Based on the information we received, it is too dangerous for John to return to his neighborhood. So, we are now urgently looking for a safe and suitable home for him.

John is a gentle, easygoing dog. Thanks to our team of caretakers and volunteers, he has developed all the skills necessary to make a great companion dog. He will be fully vaccinated and neutered before release.

While John is friendly and likes little fuss now and then, he’s not needy or demanding at all. He would also make a good activity partner for hiking or running. His ideal home would have enough fenced-in space for a young dog to move around.
