A Victim of Human Cruelty

The caretaker at the temple was horrified to find sweet, gentle Milo with multiple wounds to his face, one morning. A sharp tool had been driven deep into his face with great force, penetrating from the nose and forehead, all the way down to his jaw.

The WVS veterinary team immediately started to treat his injuries and lessen his pain. Injuries like these are extremely painful, but Milo knew we were trying to help him and he endured all the treatments with great patience. Now, in his third week of treatment, he is feeling much better and will soon be ready for release.

In addition to the steady stream of traffic injuries and diseases resulting the hard life of strays, we see malicious attacks by humans all too often. Fortunately, Milo’s caretaker knew he could get help at the WVS Rescue & Rehabilitation Center.

Please support us in providing life-saving veterinary care to animals who have nowhere else to turn for help, by making a donation today.
