A tough break for Clementina

The suffering of animals doesn’t stop during COVID-19. So, while observing strict social distancing and government restrictions, we continue to help animals in distress to the best of our ability.

One example is Clementina, a very friendly stray from a nearby community. She had suffered a bad break to her left front leg. Unfortunately, it took two weeks for us to find her during a sterilization project. Too much time had passed for us to be able to save her leg. But at least our surgeons saved her life by amputating the useless appendage and preventing a deadly infection from spreading.

Just like human care-providers, our veterinary and rescue teams continue to fight disease and suffering. But they cannot do it alone!

All our work is privately funded and donations are drying up, as many of our supporters are in dire straits themselves. So, if you possibly can, please make a donation today! Even a small amount can alleviate great suffering, or even save a life.

On behalf of Clementina and all the animals — Thank you! ❤️
