Protecting Animals & Communities

Many cases of highly contagious parvo and distemper virus infections are reported in our area. Rabies is always a concern among free roaming animals, though no recent cases have been reported in our region.

Our preventive veterinary outreach teams are working hard to vaccinate as many free roaming dogs as possible, before they get sick. We visit many temples as well as communities with a high density of free roaming dogs, which are at greatest risk. Beside vaccinations against parvo, distemper, rabies and many other infections, dogs also receive flea/tick prevention and deworming treatments. Where necessary, we will also enroll these dog populations in our ongoing sterilization program, to reduce overpopulation.

We cannot do this lifesaving work without the support of animal lovers like you. So please consider making a donation today, at https://wvsthailand.org/en/donate/

Thank you on behalf of all the animals who have nowhere else to turn for veterinary care and protection from disease!
