With the support of our sister charity Mission Rabies, a team lead and supervised by a WVS Thailand staff veterinarian, spent the day delivering free rabies vaccinations to the cats and dogs of Mae Tha Chang municipality.
This was made possible by the longstanding partnership we have with the heads of municipal government who have encouraged and actively supported similar events for several years already. They actively spread the word in advance and prepared a central delivery point for our team.
We are always keen to engage with communities to make them safer and healthier places for the animals, as well as for humans.
Mission Rabies is dedicated to the total eradication of this deadly disease and has developed proven winning strategies to achieve this. To learn more about their work, check out https://missionrabies.com/
Pet owners: Please do your share, by keeping your animals up-to-date on vaccinations against rabies and other deadly infections still prevalent in our country. If you have questions, please ask your local veterinarian for guidance.
Thank You!
