WVS Thailand visited Wat Wiwek Wanaram and Wat Sri Soda Phra Aram Luang in Chiang Mai Province to provide healthcare for temple and community dogs, and to share New Year wishes with monks, the local community, and the dogs living in the temples.

During this outreach, the team provided rabies vaccinations, deworming, and basic health check-ups. Dogs showing signs of illness were transferred to the WVS Thailand veterinary clinic for further treatment to ensure proper and continuous care.

This activity aims to improve the quality of life of temple dogs, reduce the risk of infectious diseases, and create a safe environment for monks, the community, and visitors. It also promotes compassion and harmonious coexistence between people and animals.

WVS Thailand remains committed to animal welfare, ensuring that temple dogs can live healthy, safe, and sustainable lives. Every life deserves care, understanding, and compassion.
