Maddie

Maddie doesn’t know that she’s an older dog — She’s got tons of energy and playfulness left in her. She also has a very active mind and always wants to explore and discover the world around her. Unfortunately, she was never allowed to live according to her true nature when she was young and we hope that, finally, she can find someone who really understands and appreciates her.

The perfect human(s) for Maddie would be someone with enough time and energy to keep her body and mind engaged and challenged. It should also be someone with a good understanding of canine behavior and the ability to deal with her tendency to get over-excited at times. In return for all this, Maddie has endless amounts of love and loyalty to share.

We believe Maddie is a pure-bred working Labrador of about 10 or 11 years. Because she’s a big and boisterous girl, she should not be around younger children. She has good manners around other dogs, but would be happiest being the only pet. Maddie is healthy, fully vaccinated, and sterilized. As a special incentive for senior adoptions, Maddie also comes with free lifetime vet care at our clinic.
