Sweet Emily has spent her whole adult life as a shelter dog. Due to her reserved nature with unfamiliar humans, she missed out on the chance at a warm and loving home. Neverteless, she's always had a special place in the hearts of our volunteers and caretakers, of whom she is very fond.
Due to her advanced age, Emily now needs extensive care from our vet team for a number of age-related ailments. Among other things, Emily has lost most of her sight, due to cataracts and an eye infection. But she still enjoys her daily walk and a little fuss from our volunteers.
