‘Tung’, a small temple dog who once lived a peaceful life, faced an unexpected tragedy when he was hit by a car and severely injured. He endured painful wounds and could only limp with each step. Thankfully, he was brought to WVS Thailand in time.

Our veterinary team discovered an open wound on his right forelimb, with significant swelling and inflammation. Amputation was the only way to end his suffering and give him the chance to start again.

Today, Tung has overcome his darkest days. Free from pain, he is learning to move forward on three little paws, full of strength, and has returned to his happy life.

Tung is one life we were able to save in time, but many stray animals still face danger on our roads. Please slow down and drive with care when passing through temple and residential areas to help prevent accidents and loss.
