Hand-In-Hand With The Community

The other day we received a call for assistance from a kind man who looks after a group of strays near Doi Kam. One of the dogs had been getting weak, and was rapidly losing weight. Unfortunately the dog, “Kao Pod” is very shy and he could not capture and bring him in for treatment.

So, we dispatched a team of skilled catchers and were soon able to admit this sick and scared dog to the WVS Rehabilitation Center. Today, Kao Pod is already on his way to recovery from a severe blood parasite infection.

Shortly after Kao Pod’s arrival at our clinic, his caretaker showed up at our gate, his motorcycle loaded with badly needed soft food for dogs in recovery and some other items. Of course we are very grateful to this man, who already gives so much to the animals in his area.

We treat, sterilize, and vaccinate thousands of dogs in our area every year. But there are many more who need our help. So, won’t you please support our life-saving work by making a donation at https://wvsthailand.org/en/donate/
