A Big Heart for Seniors!

Among the many wonderful folks who offer great homes to our dogs, there are some who are truly exceptional. A few years ago Holly, a longtime expat, told us that she wants to give a loving and dignified retirement to some of the oldest residents at the WVS Rescue Center.

Over the past five years, Holly has now welcomed six WVS seniors to her beautiful home in the hills, two of whom are currently still with her. Several of these dogs had never known the warmth of a proper home before. And without the compassion of this special lady, they might never have had that experience.

The latest addition to Holly’s gang is Uncle Jack, an adorable oldie our great vet team put back together. Having fought a losing battle to survive in the streets of Chiangmai, this survivor knew a good thing when he saw it. Holly says about Uncle Jack: “It takes most dogs a few days to a few months to settle in completely, but with him it was more like a few minutes! Jack knew right away that he was home.”.

We always have some wonderful seniors (and others) who would make fantastic pets. So why not come down and meet them at the WVS Rescue Center? We welcome visitors from Monday thru Saturday, 9:30-4:30. Call 0869138701, or drop a message to make a date!
